Smeared Skies by Matt Molloy

"Photographer Matt Molloy is been photographing brilliant sunsets and cloudscapes for over three years, so he began experimenting with time-lapse sequences by taking hundreds of images as the sun set and the clouds moved through the sky. Molloy then digitally stacked the numerous photos to reveal shifts in color and shape reminiscent of painterly brush strokes that smeared the sky."

Favorite Places and Spaces - Atlantic Ocean Road, Norway

Opened on July 7, 1989, the Atlantic Road is a National Tourist Route and was honoured as Norway’s Construction of the Century in 2005. The Atlantic is an 8.3 kilometer (5.2 miles) section of Country Road 64 which runs between the towns of Kristiansund and Molde, the two main population centres in the county of More og Romsdal in Fjord, Norway. The spectacular road quickly became a popular tourist attraction to the extent that caution must be shown when driving it, as both the local population and visitors frequently use the road to go fishing for cod and other saltwater fish directly from the roadside.

Stormy weather at the Atlantic Road, Norway

There are four panoramic view- and rest areas with facilities in bold architectural forms along the Atlantic Road. Here you can experience both nature and architecture in great interaction. Some of the viewing platforms are also popular with anglers.

No, the rock is not about to hit the smaller raccoon. The stone is jutting out of the water, which is perfectly reflecting the sky! Now look closer ;)

Homage to Picasso’s Classic Female Portraits by Eugenio Recuenco

"Spanish photographer Eugenio Recuenco recently produced a photo series inspired by a number of Pablo Picasso's famously eclectic cubist portraits. The fashion photographs draw from the postures, moods, and clothing of the paintings, each offering something unique to its viewers. Recuenco strikes the perfect balance between honoring Picasso's work and while still maintaining creative expression."
